Sale notes

As a gemstone collector, I value my collection as much as my money and reputation. I would never ever buy or sell a stone if I had any doubts abouts its origin or authenticity.

In addition, if it has been treated in any way I will say so in the notes accompanying that particular gemstone. Many gemstones have been heated to enhance their colour and/or clarity. This doesn't devalue them at all, and is so common it is barely advertised, but I have included this information for transparency. Obviously, untreated stones are valued slightly higher. Equally, I can personally guarantee each stone's country of origin and that it has been imported legally.

Due to the nature of the point of purchase, most of the gemstones in my collection are not certificated. However, for a fee I will organise certification and/or valuation for you at a local approved appraiser of your choice. Typically, this cost is around £40 or 10% of the value of the stone, whichever is greater.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase I offer a full money-back guarantee for the full purchase price of your gemstone. It's important for you to know this, and it's important for me to offer it – and you should always ask for this guarantee wherever you buy quality gemstones. Unfortunately, there are many fake stones on the market, and you can be pretty sure that the sellers of these stones will not offer such a guarantee.

I use industry standard terms to describe the clarity of my stones. The link below (gemselect.com) provides a very good guide to this system:
GemSelect Clarity Scale

I hope you enjoy looking at my stones and may be persuaded to make a risk-free purchase. Please tell your friends and colleagues.

Steve.
